What the Terms and Conditions cover:

This covers TML’s treatment of personally identifiable information that TML collects when you voluntarily choose to provide us at the time of use of the Platform and when you use our services. The policy also covers TML’s treatment of any personally identifiable information that TML’s share with you. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that TML does not own or control or TML does not own, employ, or manage.

Personal data that we collect

Personal data refers to data that lets TML know the specifics of who you are and which may be used to identify, contact or locate you (e.g. name, age, gender, mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address). We collect your personal data when you respond to a survey, register for events, when registering for personalised services, using the Platform for purchasing thegoods, request information about product or use our services or request customer support. We may ask you to provide your personal data relevant for the scenarios such as your name, address, zip code, phone number, email address, IP Address, location data, information about your device, etc. Not all of the personal data TML holds about you, will always come directly from you. It may, for example, come from your employer or other organizations to which you belong. If you apply for a job or other staffing opportunity through this site, you will be asked to submit your resume and as well as other contact information such as your email address, phone number and mailing address. We will use this information to consider you for the job opening that you specify. We may also use this information to contact you regarding other staffing opportunities, both opportunities advertised on this site. We may use a third party service provider to assist us with some features of our site. The Platform may contain links to other Applications/ websites. TML shall not be responsible for the privacy notices or the content of such Applications/websites even if:

2. You linked to our Platform from a third party Application/ website.
3. You linked to our gatewayto purchase products and services from our vendors and avail finance from our partner banks.

Information collection and use

TML collects information including personally identifiable information, using the Open Authentication method through your account when you register yourself on the Platform, when you choose the services and promotions. TML may also receive personally identifiable information from our business partners. When you are registered with the Platform, we ask for your name, birth date, anniversary date, occupation, PAN, Address only for verification and records purpose. Once you register with TML and sign-in to our services, you are not anonymous to us. TML uses information for three general purposes: to fulfil your requests for certain products and services and to contact you about specials and new products.

By accepting these terms and condition you are authorizing TML, its affiliates, its subsidiaries, its authorized dealers, its licensors and its third party service providers, to collect data. The Platform will capture the data and will be presented back to you for your benefits.

When you access the Platform, we may automatically (i.e., not by registration) collect non-personal data (e.g. but not limited to, type of Internet browser and operating system used, domain name of the Web site from which you came, number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed). We may use this data and share it with our affiliates to monitor the attractiveness of our Services and/or Application and improve their performance or content. We have also incorporated Analytics and TML developed Crash Feedback Mechanism for the Application which will provide information about health of Application and if any crash or fault arises in the Application, TML will be notified on edukaansupport@tatamotors.com and/or through suitable application.

The collected data shall be also used by TML, its affiliates, its subsidiaries, its authorized dealers, its licensors and its third party service providers, including but not limited to provide the product or service you have requested, improvement of those product and/or services, research and development purpose or to provide new services and/or product to customers of TML, its affiliates, its subsidiaries, its authorized dealers, its licensors and its third party service providers.

In the event of your decision to unsubscribe/discontinue the Services provided herein, you are obligated to request for such discontinuation or expressly intimate your decision of unsubscribing from the Services either to TML itself or its dealership at the earliest.

All the data collected during the life of the vehicle, product, application and/or services will be stored for the purpose of providing the herein mentioned services under this contract.

Information Sharing and Disclosure:

TML will share personally identifiable information about you including but not limited to provide the product or service you have requested. Your Acceptance to these Terms and Conditions mandatorily includes your Acceptance to share your Personal Information. We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process; when we find your action on the mobile application violates TML Terms and Conditions or any of your usage guidelines for specific products or services.

TMLshall limit the collection and use of your information only on a need-to-know basis to deliver better service. TML may use and share the information provided by you with its Business Partners/ Affiliates and third parties for providing services and any service-related activities, and notifying or contacting the Customers regarding any problem with, or the expiration of, such services. In this regard, it may be necessary to disclose your information to one or more agents and contractors of TML and their sub-contractors, but such agents, contractors, and sub-contractors will be required to agree to use the information obtained from TML only for these purposes.

Where we store and process personal data

TML as a global organization, we take steps to ensure that the information we collect is processed according to this privacy notice and the requirements of applicable law wherever the data is located. TML has networks, databases, servers, systems, support, and help desks located throughout our offices around the world. We collaborate with third parties such as cloud hosting services, suppliers, and technology support located around the world to serve the needs of our business, workforce, and customers. We take appropriate steps to ensure that personal data is processed, secured, and transferred according to applicable law.

TML will not sell or rent your personal data to anyone. In some cases such as to provide the product or service you have requested, we may need to disclose or transfer your personal data within TML or to third parties if required.
