Sample return and refund policy for the sellers

The goods shall be eligible for return or replacement only if:-

  1. The goods were delivered in a physically damaged condition, or
  2. The goods have any missing parts or accessories, or
  3. Incorrect goods were delivered, or
  4. The goods differs from the description on the application, or
  5. You had initiated the request for not processing the order prior to despatch of the order.

You are required to check the consignment for any physical damage and mention about the same on Proof of Delivery(POD) document of the delivery provider.

We recommend taking photos of packages received and recording videos while unpacking products. You may refuse to accept an order from the delivery provider or choose to have the package opened and inspected before accepting the delivery, if the package appears to have been tampered with or be damaged.

You may contact edukaansupport@tatamotors.com and request for either replacement of product or refund. You will be required to provide the order No. and other details along with the images clearly depicting the damaged/missing/wrong part in the shipment. TML will forward the complaint to us. Thereafter, we upon getting convinced may try to resolve the your issues/grievances. No claims as regards the same shall be made/ maintainable on TML in any manner whatsoever.

The goods can be returned with in fifteen days of receipt of shipment in most cases. The returns will be accepted only if you fulfil the following conditions:-

  1. Product is returned with no damage, scratches along with the original invoice;
  2. Product packaging is preserved in original condition; and
  3. Product is unused and in the same condition as it was at the time of receipt.

We shall arrange the pick-up of the damaged/ defective part through our logistics partner within the shortest possible time. It can take up to fifteen days for the goods to reach usonce you hand it over to our logistics partner.We upon receiving the goods at our fulfilment center, shall inspect the goods and decide whether to approve or reject your request for refund or replacement, as the case may be. We shall communicate to you in writing our decision for approval or rejection within fifteen days from the date of receipt of the goods at our fulfilment center. In case of rejection, we shall send the goods back to you within thirty days. If you refuse to accept the delivery of the goods, the goods shall be scrapped after sixty days from the date of rejection. In that case, you shall have to bear the entire shipping cost.

In case of approval, we shall process the refund with in seven days. It may take further 5-6 business days for the refund amount to show up in your bank account from the date we process the refund.We shall be entitled to deduct the cancellation fee, handling charges, finance cost, etc. before refunding the amount to you. We shall refund the amount to you directly through the same payment mode as was used by you at the time of making payment.

You may also raise a request for the replacement of the defective goods, instead of seeking the refund. In such a case, we shall send you the replacement goods within seven days from the date of receipt of the defective goods in its fulfilment center.
